The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. (Source: Daily Express)With the recent launch of the Pixel 3a phones, Google is now shaving US$200 off the MSRPs of the Pixel 3 flagships, making them a lot more attractive to potential buyers. At US$599 and US$699 for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL respectively, there are still better value options but it’s now a lot more reasonable.
Google released the Pixel 3 flagship phones back in October last year. The devices, like with all Pixel phones, were hailed for their great cameras, solid hardware, and excellent software. The company, last month, released two mid-range versions of the phone in the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, and is now offering the Pixel 3 phones for US$200 less than MSRP.The deal is on offer until June 17, so potential buyers have a lot of time to make up their minds. The deal takes the Pixel 3 from US$799 to US$599, and the Pixel 3 XL from US$899 to US$699. We’re not sure anyone in their right minds would buy a Pixel 3 phone at MSRP—there are a host of flagship devices that offer far more value. The Pixel phones aren’t exactly the most feature-packed devices on the market right now. They weren’t at launch, either. However, they do incredibly well at the things they’re aimed at: Cameras and software. If the aforementioned prices are still a tad excessive, buyers would do well to take a look at the Pixel 3a phones. They’re missing a few flagship features but still keep the camera and software quality of their more expensive siblings. This deal is exclusive to the US.
