LIST OF SHORT CODES TO MAKE TRANSACTION FROM
BANK WITH YOUR PHONE

Welcome to my blog today, I will really appreciate your
comments in case of any problem during and after the use of the services listed
below.

NB: the following codes are gathered from the websites and
the mail sent to me from different banks and I am not liable for any misuse or
any problem arises from the use of the service.

The following codes can be used for transaction from your
mobile phone without getting to the bank hall.

GUARANTEE TRUST BANK GTB

1.      
To load a recharge card from your account to
your mobile phone account dial *737*the amount # e.g. *737*1000#

2.       To
load for a friend or family dial *737* the amount * the phone number # after
that select the number that correspond to the network you are sending the
recharge card to then press send/enter and now enter the last 4 digits of your
ATM number. E.g. *737*1000*08032165498#

3.      
To transfer money to from your account to
another account within GTB dial *737*1* the amount * the account number# then
the next screen will show you the name of the account holder and ask you to
confirm the transaction by entering the last four digits of your ATM card

4.      
To transfer to another bank from your own GTB
account then dial the following *737*2* the amount * the account number # after
the first step a pop up will show to select the bank name.

FBN === First bank of Nigeria

ACCESS === access bank

ZENITH === Zenith bank

DBN === Diamond bank of Nigeria

UBA === Union bank of Africa

You need to select the name of the bank by
entering their number to it.

The last step will ask you for the last 4
digits of your ATM card.

With the above USSD codes you can easily make transactions
from your phone without getting to the bank.

FIRST BANK OF NIGERIA

Dial *894# and fill the information required to register for
the firstmonie services and after that you can easily make almost the same
service as that of GTB.
