Apart from the common interpretations most people give love songs, I tend to look deeper for its meaning as it resonates with me.
Listening to each verse of this song feels like I’m talking to my younger self.
Me reassuring myself over and over again that I’ll choose me and I’ll love me unconditionally, no matter what.
It says:

Don’t need apologies
Know that you’re worthy.
And there’s a key statement I held on to towards the end, that “Acceptance is the key to be truly free”
Love does not necessarily have to come from others to you, let it start from you to you.
Accept the person that you are, love yourself unconditionally through the good and the bad days, and watch how the freedom and love you desperately crave for springs out from within you.
External validation or love is good, take it as a bonus, but internal validation and love is the key.
